The «August» Field Day takes place on 5 August 2026 in the Tver region, hosted by LLC «Tver Agroprom», and the International Potato Tour team will take part. The event brings together industry experts, agribusiness and scientific institutions. The programme centres on expansive demonstration plots showing over 40 promising potato varieties from breeders including Solana Rus, Norika Slavia and the A.G. Lorch Potato Research Center. Attendees can also examine modern crop protection schemes, nutrition systems, current machinery including AI solutions for tuber quality control, and vegetable storage technologies, with a practical masterclass on diagnosing potato diseases as a highlight. Tour representatives will bring fresh issues of the «Potato System» magazine, described as one of the Tour’s main partners, for guests to collect at the venue.
